About the event

Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin, Minnesota Senator Sandra Pappas, and Secretary of State Steve Simon will discuss the influence of Judaism on their careers in public office. Moderated by Robin Washington, editor at large, 'The Forward.'  Constitutional scholar and Maryland Congressman Jamie Raskin, is the grandson of Samuel Bellman, one of Minnesota's first Jewish state legislators. Bellman was elected in 1935.
