You can help preserve our Jewish Midwest history

The story of the Jews in the Upper Midwest goes back nearly 200 years. The places where today we live, work and play are the same places our predecessors encountered as immigrants, sodbusters, business owners, community leaders and neighbors. Our story is urban and rural, religious and secular, joyful and tragic.

For over 35 years, the Jewish Historical Society of the Upper Midwest has collected and preserved this history, and provides us all with rich resources, exhibits, publications and events that enable you to place yourself right here where it happened… where it’s happening today.

When you contribute to JHSUM, you ensure Jewish history will be safely preserved and made available for research, educational programs and exhibits for years to come.

JHSUM is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. Donations made to JHSUM are tax-deductible. If you need our EIN or further information, please email us at history@jhsum.org
